Danielle Jane Minogue (born October 20, 1971), known as Dannii Minogue or simply Dannii, is an Australian singer/songwriter, actress and an occasional model and fashion designer. She rose to prominence in the early 1980s as a result of her role in the Australian television talent show Young Talent Time, before commencing her career as a pop singer and recording artist.

Signed to a contract in 1990 by Australian record label Mushroom Records, she achieved a string of hit records throughout the world, but her popularity began to decline by the mid-1990s, leading her to focus on a television presenting, placing her musical career on hold. For several years she attempted to establish herself as television host and presenter, but returned to music reinventing herself as a pop—dance artist. Her first effort was widely publicised, but failed to attract a substantial audience and resulted in the lowest sales of her career.

In 2001, Minogue returned to popularity with the release of "Who Do You Love Now?", a collaboration with Dutch DJs Zki & Dobri, performing under the group name Riva. The song became Minogue's most successful release worldwide, becoming one of the biggest dance club hits of the year. She has established one of the longest and most successful careers as a performer in dance music and television, being christened the pioneer of modern electro-pop by critics and fans alike. In the United Kingdom and Australia, she has become one of her generation's most recognisable celebrities and sex symbols, known for her provocative photographs and interviews. Dannii Minogue returns with her new single entitled 'Perfection', this is another club-based smash with Dannii adding her own inimitable vocals.

'Perfection' has given Dannii Minogue her 10th UK top ten single, spanning over 14 years, selling 7 million records in the process.

Teaming up with Soul Seekerz who topped all the U.K Club Charts with 'Turn Me Upside Down' - the instrumental version of 'Perfection', Dannii has added her vocals to huge instrumental tracks previously, in conjunction with 'Riva' ('Who Do U Love Now?') and last year, with 'Flower Power' for her hit single, 'You Won't Forget About Me'.

Interest from TV, Press and Radio is huge and the exposure for 'Perfection' will be absolutely massive.

Written by Dannii herself alongside writing legend Rob Davis ('Can't Get You Out of My Head' et al), 'Perfection' looks certain to give Dannii another hit single upon it's release in Australia.

Dannii has been named as the eighth sexiest woman of the world of the last decade by FHM Magazine UK and "Best Dressed in 2004" by Australian Vogue.

Dannii's new album will be released during 2006 and includes collaborations with legendary dance producers: Roger Sanchez, Korpi & Blackcell ('Put The Needle On It'), JCA ('I Begin To Wonder'), Shapeshifters hit maker Jenna Gibbons, Stonebridge's Therese and Location; the producers behind Britney Spears and NSync's biggest hits.
